Music Appreciation Week

We had a lot of hands on experience playing and listening to different instruments. 

Snow Day

We finally had enough snow that we could have our snow day. 

The children had fun sledding, painting the snow, building snowmen, have snow races, and 

staying warm with hot chocolate.

Arctic Animals Week

This week we had a lot of fun learning about animals that live in the Arctic. 

Some of our favorite things include:

Feeding the penguins fish in the sensory table. 

Making our own penguins during art time. 

Playing in the snow in the sensory table. 

Painting and learning fun facts about polar bears. 

Cooking/ Nutrition Week

This week we learned all about the different food groups. We also learned about cooking safety 

and went on a fun field trip to the local grocery store. 

We had fun at the dramatic play center shopping for groceries. 

The highlight of the week was being able to cook some fun snacks during snack time. 

5 Senses Week

We learned all about our 5 senses. This week we did lots of learning with hands on activities.
