December Highlights...

During the first week in December we learned
about our bodies and how to keep them healthy. We

We painted giant cut outs of ourselves.

We spent a couple of days talking about and making Christmas projects.
While learning about the letter "Hh" we made heart shaped Santa's.

We talked about reindeer and made hats and special reindeer dust.

We finished off the month we a Christmas Party and made
our own gingerbread houses.

November Recap...

We started off the month with our monthly field trip to the Bird Refuge.
We learned about desert animals and got to meet Bert the Snake.

We learned about the letter "Dd" and had a ton of fun with our Dinosaur theme.
We made dinosaur fossils, erupted a volcano, learned fun dinosaur songs, created our own "shape"osaurus's, and dug for dinosaur bones in the sensory table.

The week before Thanksgiving we learned all about Thanksgiving and why we celebrate it.
We talked about the Pilgrims and Native Americans. And even made some clothes
and puppets to go along with.

We had fun on our field trip to the grocery store and Papa Murphey's Pizza.
The highlight for the kids was being able to go inside the huge refrigerator.

We finished off our month with our
Thanksgiving feast.
