Off to a great start...

I can't believe that 2 months of preschool is already over. We are having a great time making new friends, learning our letters, colors, shapes, and doing some fun art projects. October was a great month as we prepared for Halloween. The kids loved dressing up in their costumes and we had a great time at our Halloween party.

One of the weeks in October we learned about pumpkins and how the grow. We had a fun time using our imaginations while painting our pumpkins.

During our Halloween week we made big witches and had a yummy witch snack.

We also learned about spiders one day and made cool spider hats and ate spider cupcakes for our snack.

We also enjoyed our first field trip to the bird refuge. We learned about deserts and was able to meet Susan's friend, Bert the snake.

It's Registration Time

It's that time of year to start thinking about which preschool you want to send your little ones to for the 2010 school year. I have been working really hard to get all of my licenses and inspections completed and I'm finally ready to start taking names.

I am so excited for this new chapter in my life and look forward to meeting you. I have so many fun things planned to make your child's preschool experience one that they will remember. Having taught in the public school system I feel confident that I will be able to prepare your child for Kindergarten!
