Fun times during October

October was a busy month with a lot of learning

and fun. The kids were super excited for Halloween and that excitement lasted ALL month:)) Here is a look back at our month.

 

Week 1: We learned about the letter Bb and had fun

 blowing bubbles both inside and out.

We also made name bracelets using beads for our art project.

Week two: We learned about the letter Cc.

For one of our projects we made Crowns.

We also cleaned out and carved a pumpkin, most of the

kids wanted nothing to do with the pumpkin guts:))



During the month of October we learned all about SHAPES.

During week three we learned about fire safety.

The highlight of the week was going on a field trip to the fire station.

The last week of October was spent doing all things Halloween.

The kids all looked awesome in their costumes.

I also wanted to thank all of the parents that came and supported our

costume parade. The kids were spoiled with all the treats they received:)) 

I'm looking forward to another great month!!!

A look back at September...

September was a busy first month of preschool.

It always takes a few weeks to learn routines, transition from Summer, and settle into learning.

 

September our math focus was Color Recognition.

We played color games, used manipulative's, and explored with colors in the sensory table. Our favorite thing was illustrating our Brown Bear Books.

 

 

Our favorite theme that we learned about during September

was Pets. During the week we went on a field trip to the animal clinic and had our own pet show. 

We are off to a great start!!!

Tuition $60.00 a month

1-2 field trips a month on Wednesdays

March...

March was a busy month,

 with lots of fun and even more learning!!!

We started the month with our monthly Bird Refuge Field Trip. 

We learned about Owls and were even lucky enough

to disect owl pellets.  

March is always one of my favorite months, especially since we get to learn 

about Dr. Seuss. Some of the highlights from the week included:

The Cat in the Hat

Green Eggs and Ham

One Fish Two Fish

There's a Wocket in my Pocket

During the second week of March we celebrated St. Patrick's Day and 

learned about the letter Rr. 

We made rainbows and even went on a scavenger hunt for the treasure

at the end of the rainbow.

We celebrated and welcomed Spring during the third week of March. 

 We learned the letter Ss, made Spring flowers, and painted Snakes. 

The weather was finally nice enough to play outside for our recess. 

The last week of March was all about Easter.

We did several art projects, dyed eggs, had a special snack, and 

had an Easter egg hunt.
