Schedule

A daily schedule is outlines below to keep you informed on our daily routine, how much time is allotted to specific activities and walk you through a typical preschool day with your child.

Morning/Afternoon Schedule

9:00-9:15 / 12:15-12:30    Free Play and Learning Centers (exploration of the classroom). This time will allow children to interact with one another through dramatic play, puzzles, memory games, science centers, file folder games, etc.)

9:15-9:30 / 12:30-12:45    Circle Time. During this time we will talk about the Calendar, Weather, Days of the week, Months of the year, Seasons. We will sing songs and introduce the new skill/letter of the week, etc.

9:30-10:00 / 12:45-1:15    Small Group Instruction/Centers . We will separate into small learning groups and work on new skills and concepts. This will change weekly, but this time will be allotted for main instruction on new technique. Things that we will work on include: letters & sounds, numbers & counting, names, colors, shapes, patterns, sequencing, rhyming, etc.

10:00-10:10  / 1:15-1:25  Story Time: big books, book on tape, poems, etc.

10:10-10:20 / 1:25-1:35   Snacks/Recess

10:20-11:00 / 1:35-2:15   Theme Activity/Art Project. This will change weekly to go along with the letter, season, and holiday.

11:00-11:10 / 2:15-2:25  Music/Singing Time

11:10-11:15 / 2:25-2:30    Clean up and prepare to go home.
