Learning & Growing...

So once again I'm behind with updating this blog. We have had a lot of fun things happen at preschool the past couple of months. So I want to update all of you and share some pictures of some of the different activity/themes that we have learned about.

Theme: Snow/Winter
The kids had a ball playing in the snow on our "Snow Day." The weather was nice and the kids loved getting out a being able to run and chase each other.

The children enjoyed learning about Bald Eagles.

December: During the month of December we had a lot of fun celebrating the holiday season. The kids had a great time decorating their own gingerbread houses.

They also enjoyed playing in the sensory table which was full of rice and little presents.

Theme: Staying Healthy

In November we learned about our bodies and how we can take care of them. For one of the art projects, each child got to draw and color a life size picture of themselves.

Theme: Thanksgiving

Also in November we learned about Thanksgiving and why we celebrate it. We talked about how the Pilgrims and the Indians were the first to celebrate Thanksgiving.

We have had a great couple of months. I can't believe how fast the year is slipping by. I love teaching and working with your children and I'm so proud of the accomplishments that they are making.
