In January we learned about Arctic Animals and had a lot of fun doing centers and art projects. The kids practices their counting skills by feeding the penguins fish. We made our very own igloo's using marshmellows. And we finished the week by reading Tacky the Penguin and making our own penguins.
In the month of February we enjoyed celebrating Valentines Day. The kids loved making their mailboxes and passing out their valentines to each other. We worked really hard on patterns and had fun making different patterns using conversation hearts.
